CarlogieCarlogie Dam is fishing well to a wide variety of flies, nymphs and buzzers on floating lines and lures on intermediate lines.
The fish are still rising well in the evenings when cdcs and dries account for the majority of catches.
Dave Paul, Dundee, had a good day on a recent visit to the dam. He caught a goldie in his three fish limit and earned himself £100.
Arbroath angler R. Wilson had this week's heaviest bag with five fish for 20 pounds.
Keith Prior, Carnoustie, topped the catch-and-release figures with 24 returned.
Next best local angler was Colin Murray, Carnoustie, with 12 returned.
Frank Ferrier, Brian Longmuir, both Arbroath, and Jim Steppie, Carnoustie, each put back nine, Martin Roberts, Arbroath, and Dave Roy, Broughty Ferry, both returned eight, and Bill Murray, Carnoustie, caught-and-released six.
