QUIZ TEAMS PICK UP TROPHIES
The first two trophies of the John Barr Cabs Carnoustie Quiz League season were won and lost last Wednesday night, April 23.
In the final of the Stag's Head Cup at the Craw's Nest, the winners were Station Stoaters with a score of 133.
Alpha Q (119) were second, No Ideas (94) third, and Sparklets B (86) fourth.
On the same evening, seven teams contested the Consolation Cup final at the Corner Hotel.
Kornair A emerged victorious with a score of 109. Krazy Kwizzers (96) were second, Corner A (77) third, Don Quizote (74) fourth, Kinloch Clueless, Sparklets A (both 67) joint fifth, and Taymouth Numties (65) seventh.
