ON SUNDAY, March 21, Angus Active Schools and Angus Sports Development teams will be working in partnership to host a Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile at Monifieth High School.
As well as offering you the opportunity to rise to the challenge and do the Mile, there will be raffles, food stalls and a host of other entertainment.

So enter the Mile, get sponsored and make a real day of it!

As one of the UK's biggest fund-
raising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

The Sport Relief Weekend is taking place from March 19 to 21 and it'll be three whole days of energy, entertainment and events for everyone to enjoy.

From the Friday of fund-raising fun, and a night of cracking TV on BBC One, right through to the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile on Sunday, it promises to be a brilliant weekend.

All the money raised for Sport Relief is spent by Comic Relief to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries, to turn their lives around.

Your fund-raising cash might be spent helping kids in Africa get into primary school or supporting an isolated older person in the UK to meet other people so they feel less lonely.

But one thing's for sure - the money you raise will help to make the world of difference to people's lives.

For Sport Relief 2010, three of the many issues your cash will help to tackle are - children who live on the streets or work in dangerous conditions, people affected by malaria and local UK projects.
