A FIVE-UNDER-PAR 66 gave Bothwell Castle's Steven Taylor first place in the Mansell Pro-Am over the Monifieth Medal Course on Tuesday.
In a bogey-free round, he birdied the 3rd, 5th, 8th, 16th and 18th for halves of 33.

Taylor won the £1,088 first prize by one shot from Graham Fox, East Kilbride, David Orr, East Renfrewshire, Alan Lockhart, Ladybank, and Stephen Gray, Hayston.
Craig Matheson, Falkirk Tryst, who had an individual one-under-par 70, led the Andrew Cowie Construction trio of amateurs, Greg Keith (8), Jim Miller (9) and Jonny Cross (18), to victory in the team event with a net 18-under-par 124.

There was a 70 minute suspension of play because of heavy rain during the morning.

67 - David Orr, East Renfrewshire; Graham Fox, East Kilbride; Alan Lockhart, Ladybank; Stephen Gray, Hayston.

69 - Robert Arnott, Bishopbriggs; Sam Cairns, Colville Park; Jason McCreadie, Buchanan Castle; Gordon Law, Uphall.

70 - Paul Wytrazek, Burntisland; Lindsay Mann, Carnoustie; Chris Doak, unattached; Craig Matheson, Falkirk Tryst.
