AT LAST, reasonably good weather at Kingennie Fishings last week, and happy fishermen!

The specimen pool had a few good fish caught, the two biggest catches of the week were by the Johnston duo eight for 48lb,and the two Bairne
r lads with six for 35lb.

Mr Heenan caught two at 16lb, while Messrs Henderson and Fox had two at 16lb and two at 14lb respectively.

Cat's whisker, yellow dancer, fritzes and olives did most of the damage.

The Bankside pool has given the catch and return lads a cracker of a week with upwards of 100 fish being returned in just over three days.

The average size of the caught fish was around about the two-to-three pound mark. Mr Gilbert had six for 14lb, Mr Duncan two for 5lb, Mr Batchelor one at 3lb and Mr Thompson two for 5lb.

Most fish were caught on yellow dancers, buzzers and damsels.

The Woodside pool' as normal, gave bait anglers a good return, powerbait and worms, with occasionally a little bloodworm fly, doing most of the catching.
