IN SATURDAY’S only local Scottish Cup tie, Broughty fought out a draw with Dee Club while in the Lunan Trophy semi-finals, Barnhill lost out after penalties and Broughty United were defeated after extra time.

In the Trident Trophy Division Two local derby, Carnoustie Athletic were victorious over Monifieth Tayside.

Gowfers’ Gamble

THERE was no jackpot winner when the Gowfers’ Gamble draw was made at Laing Park on Monday evening.

The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 8, 11, 12 and 19.

Consolation prizes of £20 each go to M. Glen, Carnoustie, and D. Anderson, Monifieth.

Jackpot for the next draw on Monday (October 15) is £2,000.
