Arbroath will face Elgin City or Bo’ness United in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

The Lichties were handed that tie in the draw made at Hampden today (Monday).

Elgin and Bo’ness, of the Scottish Junior East Superleague, fought out a thrilling 4-4 draw at Borough Briggs on Saturday.

And the Lichties will fancy their chances of reaching the fifth round.

Allan Moore’s men reached the fourth round with a 2-1 win over Nairn County on Saturday, Paul McManus (penalty) and Scott McBride scoring.

Holders St Johnstone were first out of the hat and will kick off their defence against Ross County.

Championship leaders Hearts will play Celtic, while Rangers drew Kilmarnock.

Fellow Angus team Brechin drew Annan away from home.
