A point apiece on Saturday leaves the Gowfers in a strong league position.

Alan McSkimming is full of conviction that his team can continue with the impressive performance they’ve displayed so far.

He said: “The Camelon game was evenly matched early in the first half and chances were few and far between for both teams.

“Both teams were threatening and they were finding it difficult to break us down as were we.”

A scoreless first half left the second half wide open for both teams to knuckle down and take the lead.

“After the break we looked more dangerous,” McSkimming said. “But it was really down to the backs and I have to say, the defence from both teams really came out on top.” The Gowfers are eagerly anticipating tomorrows game against Broxburn facing the challenging team with the confidence of an unbeaten record.
