Carnoustie maintain 100 per cent record

Domino 3, Carnoustie Panmure 4, aet

CARNOUSTIE Panmure Under-19s continued their unbeaten start to the Dundee and District Football Association season by edging out Domino in the Maryfied/G Kerr Cup on Sunday.

Carnoustie had beaten Domino 5-3 after extra time in the Scottish Cup the previous week and were fast out of the blocks with CAMMY STEVEN finishing neatly from a corner.

However Domino came into the game in the second half and were level after an hour and then took the lead via the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining and Carnoustie reduced to 10 men.

Like the previous week, the local side would not be denied and BEN CUSHNIE squared the game with five minutes remaining.

Domino used their man advantage to take the lead again in the first period of extra-time, but Carnoustie showed tremendous resolve and levelled again through a tremendous 25 yard free-kick from JAMIE REYNOLDS before a BEN CUSHNIE volley won the game with five minutes of extra-time remaining.

Rather harshly the Carnoustie player was sent off for his celebration, leaving his team-mates to hang on for victory.
