Carnoustie star Forsyth gets Scotland call

Derby County defender Craig Forsyth has kept his place in Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad for the double header against the Republic of Ireland and England.

The Carnoustie lad, 25, has been in fine form for the English Championship outfit and Strachan has kept faith in him by naming the player in his 27-man group for the Celtic Park Euro 2016 qualifier against the Irish and the ‘friendly’ with England.

Forsyth will be hoping to see some action in the games on November 14 and 18 after failing to feature against Georgia and Poland last month.
