THE ANNUAL charity football challenge between Hamish’s Has-beens and Danny’s Dinosaurs will be played this evening (Friday) at Gayfield, with a 6.30 p.m. kick-off.
Dinosaurs will be hoping to avenge their 1-0 defeat the last time this fixture took place.
Money raised will be split between Alder-hay Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, and the CAFE project Street Games For All.
Among those taking part will be some who have played at professional level.
They include Lichties’ assistant manager Stewart Petrie, ex-Montrose manager Steven Tweed, and former Lichties Gordon Dunn and Kevin Tindal.
Admission is free, and a collection will be taken by buckets.
