Conditions made life difficult for Panmure boys

Under-17s

Arbroath CSC 3,

Carnoustie Panmure 3

CARNOUSTIE Panmure Youth under-17s made the short journey to Arbroath on Sunday to face the local ACSC.

A very entertaining match was played in dreadful conditions and a share of the points was just about the right result.

Carnoustie goals were scored by Cameron Stephen (2) and Bob McGregor.

Manager Billy Hoon was a happy man as his side has now taken four points from their last two games and sit joint second in the group after three games played. He singled out Ryan Muirison and Bob McGregor for their performances.

Under-13s

Arbroath CSC 1, Carnoustie Panmure 5

This was a hard fought contest at Arbroath with a very boggy pitch and gale force winds.

Carnoustie had all the first half with the wind but only managed to get two goals as Arbroath defended vigorously.

The home team had the wind in the second half, so they opened up a bit which helped Carnoustie counter attack, scoring three more goals. Unfortunately they also put the ball in their own net!
