Disappointing week for local teams

IT WAS a disappointing weekend for local Dundee and District Footballl Association teams in the Scottish Cup third round with only Ferry under-19s managing a win at home to Haddington Athletic Colts.

Results were:

Scottish Cup third round: Under-14s - Ferry 0, Albion BC 5; Under-15s - Broughty 3, Dalmuir Park United 4; Under-16s - Ferry 0, Bathgate Rose FC 2; Under-17s – Dunfermline United 5, Ferry 3; Under-19s - Ferry 6, Haddington Athletic Colts 2; Eastvale 1, Carnoustie 0.

Under-13: Diamond Jubilee Cup. second round - Carnoustie 7, Forfar 4; Ross Ballantine Cup, Round One - Broughty 3, Arbroath 8; Broughty Ferry Cafe Royale League - Douglas 2, Ferry 7; J. Clenaghan League - Monifieth 2, Dundee Thistle 0.
