CARNOUSTIE and District Racing Pigeon Club continued their young bird series with a race from Ripon on Saturday. Two members sent 10 birds, which were liberated in a south-west wind.

No winners

THERE were no jackpot winners when the weekly Gowfers’ Gamble draw took place on Monday evening.

The winning numbers were 7, 9, 15, 16, 18 and 23. Two consolation prizes of £10 each go to B. Smith, Arbroath, and C. Ferguson, Carnoustie. The jackpot will be £750 when the next draw takes place on Monday.
