CARNOUSTIE under-19s tasted defeat for the first time this season losing their Maryfield/G. Kerr Cup quarter-final after extra time.

They were missing three regular players before the game then lost two through injury during the encounter, one of whom suffered a leg break. Combined with a poor display, it was a disappointing weekend for manager Billy Hoon.
