Carnoustie Panmure have come up trumps after they managed to secure the services of former Bristol Rovers and Scotland player Garry Kenneth.
The deal was done last night (Thursday) and will see the 27-year-old centre back play for the Gowfers for two years.
Carnoustie Panmure manager Alan McSkimming said: “I think most teams around this area have been interested in Garry and we’ve been working on this for a very long time.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to get him in and everybody associated with the club is delighted.
“Garry’s extensive senior playing CV speaks for itself, to play in the SPL for as many seasons as he did, then going to Bristol and also picking up some Scotland caps.
“Garry is a top quality player who can take us on to the next level. Obviously we’re trying to take the club forwards in the right direction and getting a quality player like him makes that a bit easier.”
Kenneth was most recently involved with Brechin City at the tail end of last season after he returned to Scotland following a spell at Bristol Rovers.
