Roselea took the lead in 14 minutes when a back pass from Young fell short which Callum Watson latched onto. His shot was initially blocked by the keeper but the ball rebounded back to the striker’s feet and he rounded the keeper and rolled the ball into the empty net.

After each side had a few half chances Banks o Dee were back on level terms on 28 minutes when Watson sent in a great cross to Rob Armstrong who bulleted a header past McCormack from six yards.

The home side made an explosive start to the secondhalf and took the lead in 46 minutes. A long throw in from Taylor on the left was flicked onto Liam Bailey who’s nicely cushioned header looped over the keeper and into the net. Magnus Watson, though, restored parity from four yards. The game went straight to the lottery of penalties. Gilmour, Wallace and Lawrie all converted for Banks o Dee with only Garnham scoring for Roselea.

This was the last game of the season for Roselea and it has been a real learning curve for new player/manager Eric Watson.
