Solid results for Pannie Boys

Carnoustie 4,

Broughty United 3

CARNOUSTIE ensured the Under-17 League Cup section will go down to the last match, with a terrific performance.

After going behind to a penalty, Carnoustie then scored four goals without reply through Robbie McLean (2) and Ryan Murison (2).

However, with five minutes to go, they went down to nine men, as two players were injured, and Broughty scored a quickfire double.

Carnoustie held on and now they can look forward to their last match in the group, against Arbroath.

Special mentions go to Liam Higgins, Josh Allardyce, Robbie Bruce and Robbie McLean for outstanding performances.

Carnoustie 6, Montrose 0

Carnoustie Panmure Youth under-13s grabbed another three points which keep them top of Division One.

Even with Carnoustie only having 10 men, it was a very one sided match with the local side scoring two goals in the first half and four in the second. Carnoustie were solid from back to front and never gave the opposition much to cheer about.

On the scoresheet were Jack McMillan (4), Liam Sturrock and Greg Bandeen.
