Weather scuppers Gowfers once again

ON SATURDAY, for the sixth time this season, Carnoustie Panmure’s scheduled match fell foul of the weather.

Gowfers were down to play Lochee Harp at Beechwood Park, in the first round proper of the North/Tayside Inter-region Cup, sponsored by G.A. Engineering. The game had first been scheduled for October 13 but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. It was cancelled this time because of water lying on a frozen pitch.

Tomorrow’s match

Tomorrow (Saturday) the Gowfers are away to Glenrothes in the first round of the John Walker East of Scotland Cup. Kick-off will again be at 1.45 p.m.
