Good draw for Panbride

AN EXCELLENT team performance saw Carnoustie Panbride record a good draw against Harris in Division One of the Dundee Area Badminton Association, with first gent Lindsay Law winning five sets.

In Division Three, Monifieth went down to Arbroath Academy with third gent, Brian Flynn, taking five sets.

Successful fund-raiser

THE CARNOUSTIE Panmure Youth Football parent council has extended thanks to the local businesses which supported the club in a recent raffle.

Parents, friends and family members who donated to the hampers and bought tickets were also thanked. The marvellous total of £1,100 was raised.

The raffle was drawn in the Stag’s Head Inn on Sunday.
