Good start for YM

IN THE George Buckman Premier Division, Carnoustie YM started 2013 with a win against SS Peter and Paul and their Alliance One team had an excellent victory against NCR.

The Barnhill teams were the only other local teams to play and their firsts had another good win which keeps them mid-table in the Drain Doctor Division One with goals from Daryl Small, Robbie Whyte, Rikki McWilliam and two from Greg Muir. Their Alliance One team drew against Logie Harp.

HSFPs away

TOMORROW (Saturday) Carnoustie HSFP Rugby Club is away to Kinross in the RBS Caledonia Regional League Division Two Midlands League.

The Perthshire team sit just above them in the league, but Carnoustie will be hoping to get something from this game. Kick-off is at 2 p.m.
