CARNOUSTIE YM finished off a decent season in the George Buckman Premier Division in third place, admittedly a good way behind the top two, with Broughty United a bit lucky to avoid relegation.

In Drain Doctor Division One, Barnhill, although finishing down the table, were still clear of any relegation troubles but unfortunately Michelin, who had a bad end to the season, drop down to Division Two.

Carnoustie Athletic and Monifieth Tayside acquitted themselves well in the Trident Trophies Division Two, both finishing mid-table. The success of the season lies with Broughty United ‘B’ finishing top of the A.M. Phillip Alliance League Division One and picking up the Lunan Trophy and the Mel Ross Cup on the way.

Barnhill and Carnoustie YM both did well finishing third and fourth respectively with Broughty United ‘A’ seventh. In Division Two, Michelin Athletic finished fourth and Monifieth Tayside finished down in eighth.
