Mini-Midi rugby tournament

CARNOUSTIE Mini/Midi Rugby Club host their 28th annual mini rugby tournament at the High School, Shanwell Road, on Sunday. Kick-off is at 11 a.m. with presentations at around 1.30 p.m.

Over 300 children will take part in the various categories. Teams from Arbroath, Blairgowrie, Brechin, Carnoustie, Dundee Wasps, Dundee Eagles, Strathmore, Montrose and Waid will compete for the prestigious prize of Carnoustie Tournament Champions.

Martin Clark, club president, stressed that all of this would not be possible without the continued support of local people and businesses.

IT WAS one win and one loss for the men’s teams and the ladies kept their 100 per cent start to the season with an excellent win at Perth.
