Minute’s silence at Panmure game

PANMURE RFC held a minute’s silence at the start of the game against Madras on Saturday as a mark of respect for former player Colin Gass who had died the Saturday before (January 26). His funeral on Friday packed Dundee Crematorium.

A spokesperson for the club stated: “Colin was a true gentleman of the sport and a popular player and coach with Panmure in the 1970s and ‘80s.”

Panmure won Saturday’s game 27-0, and now travel to meet Fife Southern tomorrow (Saturday) in the semi-final of the Midlands Bowl competition hoping to win a place in the final against Grangemouth.
