Angling at Carlogie Dam

VISITING anglers to Carlogie Dam Fishings last week included Jim Tait, Forfar, who caught and kept four fish weighing 12lbs, caught on lures.

W. Reilly, Dundee, caught and kept three weighing 7lbs 8ozs, caught on lures; K. Clark, Dundee, caught 10 fish and kept three weighing 10lbs 4ozs, caught on lures. His best was a rainbow weighing 6lbs 8ozs. L. Duffy, Dundee, caught six fish and kept four weighing 10lbs, caught on lures; Mr Shepherd, Newport, caught six fish and kept three weighing 7lbs, caught on lures; J. Shepherd, Dundee, caught and kept two fish weighing 4lbs, caught on lures; Larry Morrison, Kirriemuir, caught 12 fish and kept two weighing 6lbs 8ozs, caught on buzzers; J. Dick, Dundee, caught four fish and kept two weighing 4lbs, caught on lure; Jim Tait, Forfar, on a second visit, caught eight fish and kept four weighing 9lbs, caught on lures.

On catch and release were Frank Ferrier, Arbroath, 12 fish caught on a cut throat cat; Les Gall, Dundee, eight fish caught on lures. John Gilbert, Carnoustie, eight fish caught on dries and buzzers; H. Cassiday, Dundee, 10 fish caught on lures; Colin Cameron, Dundee, nine fish caught on dries; Ally Stewart, Dundee, 13 fish caught on lures and dries; Dave Thoms, Carnoustie, 12 fish caught on diawl bach; Wayne Scott, Dundee, 14 fish caught on an olive CDC; Tony Fenemore, Broughty Ferry, seven fish caught on buzzers.
