Angling improves at Carlogie Dam

AT CARLOGIE Dam over the last week successful anglers included Jim Tait, Forfar, who caught and kept four weighing 8lb 8ozs on lures, and Ian Duncan, Broughty Ferry, who caught three, returned two and kept one weighing 5lb 7oz on a yellow dancer.

On his second visit to Carlogie Jim Tait caught five, returned one and kept four weighing 8lb on lures.

Other returns included the following: Dave Cook, Perth, caught and kept one weighing 2lb 8oz on a green pea lure; Dave Simpson, Forfar, caught and returned over 20 on various lures; Jim Armstrong, Monifieth, caught and returned 19 on snatchers and crunchers; Fraser Robertson, Forfar, c&r over 20 on blobs; Hugh Cassiday, Dundee, c&r eight on yellow dancers; Derek Glover, Broughty Ferry, c&r seven on various lures, Dave Roy, Barnhill, c&r seven on various lures; Keith Prior, Barry, c&r nine on snatchers; George Smith, Arbroath, c&r 10 on bunny leachs; Les Gall, Dundee, c&r six on a yellow dancer; Mike Hennan, Forfar, c&r 16 on a cat’s whisker; Colin Cameron, Dundee, c&r nine on buzzers; Raymond Ferguson, Forfar, c&r four on a blob; Mr C. Clark, Forfar, c&r 16 on buzzers; Jim Marnie, Dundee, c&r four on a yellow dancer; and Dave Mahoney, Dundee, c&r nine on blobs.
