The Boathouse Pool fished steadily most of the week. On Saturday there were nine fish taken for a total of 57lbs 2ozs.

Mr Calder had four fish for 25lbs and Mr McEwan took two for 12lbs 10ozs on an Orange Fritz. This was followed on Sunday by the Davis group taking 16 fish for 98lbs. Best total fell to Stevie Johnson with four weighing 27lbs 8ozs. Largest fish was a rainbow of 8lbs 4ozs taken by Drew Rennie.

Burnside has been rather more moody but some excellent results have been achieved. On catch and release, George Birse returned 13 fish, mainly caught on a Bronze Polar Bear. Buzzers have also accounted for a number of fish. On evenings when the wind has dropped the sport has been amazing with fish high in the water taking dries and buzzers.
