AT CARLOGIE dam over the past week anglers included Jim Mcguire, Aberdeen who caught six fish, returned four and kept two weighing 4lb 8ozs on a WSW.

Other returns included Walt Snr, Aberdeen, caught eight, returned five and kept three weighing 5lb 8ozs on a WSW; G. Fleming, Brechin caught and kept three weighing 5lb 8ozs on buzzers, Jim Tait, Forfar, caught and kept two weighing 10lb 12ozs on a green pea lure, his best a rainbow weighing 8lbs; S. Falconer, Arbroath, caught six returned four and kept two weighing 4lb on buzzers, J. Falconer, Arbroath, caught three, returned one and kept two weighing 4lb on buzzers; Jim Cheetham, Forfar, caught four, returned one and kept three, weighing 9lbs on a yellow dancer; John Welsh, Forfar, caught six, returned three and kept three weighing 5lb on a yellow dancer; D. Johnston, Dundee, caught and kept two weighing 4lb on a bloodworm; I. Johnston, Dundee, caught five, returned three and kept two weighing 4lb 8oz on a bloodworm; Hugh Finlay, Monifieth, caught and kept one weighing 2lb on a lure; W. Thomson, Dundee, caught and kept one weighing 2lb on a lure.
