DEFENDING champion Yani Tseng is right in contention for a second Ricoh Women’s British Open title.

The Taiwanese star recorded a fine six under round of 66 to move to seven under for the tournament alongside South Korea’s Meena Lee who tees off at 3.17 this afternoon.

Tseng had six birdies, an eagle and two bogeys in her round, with the eagle coming at the par five 14th.

But her efforts were not enough to take the clubhouse lead.

It is currently held by South Korea’s Se Ri Pak who had a quite magnificent 64 which included eight birdies and no bogey blemishes on her card.

Fellow South Korean Inbee Park is also going along nicely, being six under through 14 at the moment to join Pak on -8.
