QUALIFYING for the annual singles championship took place in the Corner, Stag’s Head, British Legion and Dalhousie on Monday night.

The players who won through to finals night were Margaret Brown, Stag E, Angus Christie, Golf Inn, Bobby Clark, British Legion, and Ian Smart snr, British Legion.

Monday’s fixture: Open Doubles Competition.

McEwan’s Broughty Ferry Domino League

THIS year’s singles champion is Linda McGuinness, Jolly’s, who defeated Jim Millar, Vault A, in the final at the Occidental on Tuesday night.

Beaten semi-finalists were George Whyte, Eagle Inn, and Steve Long, Occidental.

Tuesday’s fixture: Doubles Finals, to be hosted by Vault A. Check-in 7.15 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. start.
