The STATION Masters Golf Club held their annual dinner and presentation of trophies in the Station Hotel, Carnoustie.

This season saw 17-year-old Jessica Meek become the first female member in the brief history of the club to win the scratch Club Championship trophy, having overcome vice-captain Elliot Davie in the quarter-final and reigning club champion Iain Burnett in the semi-final.

In a closely fought final, Jessica went on to win the championship by one hole over seasoned campaigner, Jim Hiney.

Due to Jessica’s commitments with the Scottish squad her trophy was collected on her behalf by Nor Reid.

There were a host of other prizes and trophies awarded with Bill Simpson presented with the Dave McNicoll Cup as handicap champion; senior champion Elliot Davie won the Country Members’ Cup; Matt Edmond and Brian Wardrup received the Dunbar Cup as four-ball champions; The Enfield Trophy went to foursomes winners Alan Clark and Iain Burnett; Pete Coutie lifted the Winter Shield and the Kiwi Shield was picked up by Martin Connor.
