Generous catches at Carlogie Dam Fishing

VISITING Carlogie Dam Fishings last week was Walter Senior, Aberdeen, who caught 20 fish, returned 15 and kept five weighing 12lbs 8ozs caught on a WSW.

J. Bell, Dundee, caught eight fish, returned five and kept three weighing 9lbs caught on dries and lures. D. Ferguson, Kirriemuir, caught six fish returned four and kept two weighing 4lbs. All were caught on an ace of spades.

Forfar’s Jim Tait caught 14 fish, returned nine and kept five weighing 14lbs caught on buzzers. Paul Newman, Dundee, caught and kept two fish weighing 4lbs also caught on buzzers.

Another Dundonian, Bob McFarlane, caught and kept three fish weighing 6lbs caught on a yellow dancer. Peter Cameron, Kirriemuir, caught and kept three fish weighing 4lbs 8ozs caught on a damsel.

D. Whitecross, Broughty Ferry, caught seven fish, returned five and kept two weighing 5lbs caught on various lures. M. Duffy, Dundee, caught and kept two fish weighing 4lbs taken on lures.

W.Thomson, also from Dundee, caught five fish, returned three and kept two weighing 6lbs 4ozs, also caught on lures. D. Cook, Dundee, caught and kept two fish weighing 5lbs caught on buzzers.

On catch and release were Dave Simpson, Forfar, who caught and returned 17 fish caught on lures. He also caught a swallow?

Colin Cameron, Broughty Ferry, caught and returned 12 fish caught on buzzers. Dave Thoms, Carnoustie, caught and returned 16 fish caught on buzzers.

Carnoustie’s John Gilbert caught and returned 20 plus fish, all caught on dries and buzzers. Derek Glover, Dundee, caught and returned 11 fish caught on a WSW.

Ally Stewart, also from Dundee, caught and returned four fish caught on lures. Bruce Thompson, Arbroath, caught and returned nine fish caught on buzzers.

Dundonian Jim Marnie caught and returned five fish caught on buzzers.
