Ferguson, Irvine, caught and returned one on buzzers; M. Willson, Barry, caught and returns seven on buzzers; Ally Stewart, Dundee, on his second visit caught and returned 12 on lures; A. Philip, Forfar, caught and returned 16 on lures and cruncher; and S. Watson, Muirdrum, caught and returned three on lures.
IT HAS been a cold wintry week at Forbes of Kingennie but those anglers willing to brave the weather have had some great returns. Some anglers have struggled on the bank side but others who have cracked the method have been rewarded with incredible numbers of fish.
Once again young Robert Gibson has shown everyone how to do it, taking a staggering 21 fish on daiwl bachs and fabs on the washing line fishing in the first bay on Saturday.
The boathouse has been fishing really well now that the water is clearing and the anglers at the weekend took full advantage with only one angler not taking a fish.
Biggest bag was taken by Mr Ross with two fish for 14lb 3oz as well as the biggest fish of the week with a 8lb 9oz rainbow both taken on a orange fritz.
