BROUGHTY Ferry gymnast Hannah Kilcullen and Carnoustie gymnast Jennifer Brankin were two of six gymnasts from Dundee Gymnastics Club 2k who were presented with a framed certificate of achievement at the Scottish Gymnastics WTP awards evening.

Hannah, along with Kirsty Campbell and Jordan Archibald were members of the 2010 Scottish National Junior squad.

Jennifer was a member of the 2010 Scottish National Start squad and Hayley Bell along with Sarah Mckenzie were members of the 2010 Scottish National Academy squad.

Hannah, Kirsty and Jordan were also named as Sport Dundee’s Team of the year for 2010.

Earlier at Bells Sports Centre, Perth, the 2011 Scottish National Gymnastics Championships, for Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics were held.

Jennifer competed at Espoir level, and Kirsty and Jordan competed at Senior level.

The team won bronze in the overall event, and qualified for the individual apparatus championships to be held on the next day.

Jennifer, who had qualified for the beam, and floor events, went on to win bronze for the beam, and a commendable fourth place on floor.

She will now start training with 2Ks’ head coach, Bea Petersen, for competitions to be held later in the year in Malta and Hamburg.
