Jump-cross event at Rowanlea

A cheque for �161.00 was presented to Cancer Research UK at Rowanlea stables on Wednesday by Tia Steele who at the start of the summer holidays did a 24 hour sponsored silence. Alana loudon accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity and Paddy Tia's pony.

The summer programme at Rowanlea Riding School continued last Wednesday with jump-cross competitions for juniors and adults.

Results were:

Juniors

Pre-Novice - 1 equal, Katie Berry, on ‘Bubbles’, and Amy Low, on ‘Tikka’.

Novice - 1 equal, Ami Conchie, on ‘Blue’, Michael Conchie, on ‘Toffee’, and Kathryn Thurston, on ‘Raquel’.

RRS Novice - 1, Lucy Pandrich, on ‘Bobby’.

Open - 1, Leigh Clark, on ‘Storm’.
