Carnoustie Ladies’ Darts League

AT THE league’s annual general meeting in the Stag’s Head last Thursday night, June 16, the following office-bearers were elected for the 2011-12 season: president, Sandra Smith; secretary, Tracey McGill; and treasurer, Nichola Egan.

Corner Hotel have agreed to sponsor the league again next season and were thanked for their continuing and increased support.

League membership remains at six teams. Those taking part will be All Stars, All Stars A, British Legion, Corner, Kinloch and Stag.

The first competition of the new season will be the annual Trident Cup charity event to be held in the Stag’s Head on August 25 at 8 p.m. Entry fee £1.50 per person. All proceeds to a nominated charity yet to be announced.

Thursday’s fixture: Gala Darts, in Corner, 7.45 for 8 p.m. start. Entry fee £1.50 per person. All welcome.

Broughty Ferry Darts League

VAULT maintained their 100 per cent record with an away victory over Eagle and top the Steve Clenaghan Auto-Centre Summer League by two points from Occidental A and Vault Stars.
