FISHING was good at Carlogie Dam last week.

Catches included the following - Jim Tait, Forfar, caught 10 fish and kept five weighing 10lbs, caught on lures; I. Johnston, Dundee, caught four and kept two weighing 4lbs 8ozs, also caught on lures; I. Shephard, Castle Douglas, caught three and kept two weighing 4lbs, caught on a blae and black; G. Douglas, Arbroath, caught four and kept two fish 3lbs 8ozs, caught on lures; P. Martin, Arbroath, caught four and kept two weighing 4lbs 8ozs, caught on lures.

S. Sanderson, Carnoustie, caught and kept two fish weighing 3lbs, caught on dries; A. Woodrow, Forfar, caught eight and kept four weighing 9lbs, caught on a PTN; Mr Macpherson, Arbroath, caught 13 fish and kept five weighing 15lbs, caught on lures, his best a rainbow of 5lbs.

On his second visit during the week, Jim Tait, Forfar, caught seven fish and kept five weighing 13lbs, caught on lures. R. Ferguson, Forfar, caught six and kept two weighing 4lbs, caught on lures.

On catch and release were A. Phillip, Forfar, who caught and returned 14 fish caught on buzzers and blobs; Dave Simpson, Forfar, caught 20-plus fish on lures; B. Cummings, Forfar, caught 20-plus fish on a cruncher; D. Marr, Brechin. caught and returned 15 fish caught on buzzers; F. Robertson, Forfar, caught and returned seven fish, caught on lures; M. Heenan, Arbroath, caught and returned 10 fish caught on lures; P. Edinson, Eccleston, caught and returned eight fish caught on buzzers; and Colin Tait, Forfar, caught nine fish, all on lures.
