A team from Dundee Gymnastics Club (DGC2k) took part in the Scottish National Gymnastic Championships at at Perth, last month.
The youngsters won several medals in four disciplines, vault, beam, asymmetric bars and floor.
The women’s teams could be made up of a mix of gymnasts from three categories, espoir’e, junior and senior.
Carnoustie High School pupil Jennifer Brankin, moving up from espoir’e, competed in her first year at junior level along with fellow DGC2k members. The team comprised, senior - Kirsty Cambell and Jorden Archibald; junior - Jennifer Brankin; and espoir’e - Haley Bell, Sofia Ramzen and Sarah McKenzie.
Competing against teams from City of Glasgow, West Lothian and Garioch, DGC2K, gained a creditable silver award and Sarah won all round silver in her category
All 2k gymnasts qualified, for at least one apparatus final, held on Sunday, when 2k won another clutch of medals.
They were: senior - Kirsty Campbell, silver on bars; junior - Jennifer Brankin, silver, floor routine; espoir’e - Sarah McKenzie, silver, floor routine, bronze, vault, and bronze bars; Sofia Ramzen, silver, vault and bars, and bronze, beam; Hayley Bell, silver, bars.
Bea Petersen, 2k senior coach, said that this is a follow on from their recent achievements where all girls gained medals in the Greater Manchester Open.
