Gowfers’ gaffer Alan McSkimming is looking at a last minute dash up the table if his side can keep their form.
On Saturday Panmure beat Hill o’ Beath 3-2 in an action packed game. Alan said: “It was one of those games that could have gone either way, it was an eventful game all round with the bookings, sending offs and the goals and I think from a neutral’s point of view it must have been a good game to watch, but from a management point of view we were all on tenterhooks.
“But I was delighted with the three points, we couldn’t have asked for any more from them.”
Tomorrow (Saturday) Alan’s side takes the fight to Camelon Juniors. He said: “We know how they’ll set up and we know how to get at them to increase our chances. It’s really about the hunger and desire because both teams are down to their last game. Camelon are striving for second place and we’ll be looking for a mid table finish. We can finish fifth on points but because of goal difference it would actually be seventh, but that would be a great finish for us.
“I’m feeling confident we can execute a game plan that will give us the best opportunity to win.”
