Great result

Pittenweem 3, Carnoustie 5

PITTENWEEM was the venue for the first round Scottish Cup tie for Carnoustie Panmure under-14s.

In a well matched first half, the visitors scored inside two minutes, which put them on their way for what was to be a quality display. Half-time score was 3-2 to the visitors.

In the second half another two goals for one in reply made the final score 5-3 to Carnoustie with a superb hat-trick from front man Ben Less, and one apiece for Connor McCarthy and captain Liam Sturrock.
