Clubsport Indoor Sixes

PLAY in the Clubsport Indoor Sixes Cricket League resumed at the Mayfield Sports Centre, Dundee, last Wednesday.

Showing no signs of a post-festive season hangover, Forfarshire won both their matches, including a tight last ball victory against defending champions Kinloch.

‘Shire’s other success came against bottom-of-the-table Glenrothes, who again drew a blank.

A young Arbroath side, averaging just 16 years of age, had mixed fortunes on the night, but still top the table with a 75 per cent record.

Results: Forfarshire 43, Kinloch 42; Arbroath 70, Glenrothes 11; Glenrothes 35, Forfarshire 63; Kinloch 39, Arbroath 38.
