Gowfers’ Gamble

THERE was no jackpot winner at Monday’s Gowfers’ Gamble draw.

The numbers drawn were 1, 4, 12, 13, 17 and 22.

Consolation prizes of £10 were won by D. McKay, Dundee, and M. Campbell, Carnoustie.

Jackpot for the next draw on Monday will be £1,000.

‘Shire sit things out

IN THE latest series of Clubsport Indoor Sixes League fixtures at the Mayfield Sports Centre, Dundee, last Wednesday, January 18, Arbroath and Largo both had two wins each against Rossie Priory and Strathmore.

Forfarshire sat out week six of the competition, as did Dundee High School FP, Glenrothes and Kinloch.

Results: Largo 46, Strathmore 41; Arbroath 90, Rossie Priory 54; Rossie Priory 47, Largo 58; Arbroath 99, Strathmore 52.

Diving

Local success

MONIFIETH’S Nathan Gevers and three other members of Dundee City Aquatics Diving travelled to Newbattle on Saturday, for the first Scottish Novice Levels competition of the year.

Nathan finished fourth in the level three open age group, while his team mates, Samantha Stockman took silver in the girls’ eight to 11 years, Ryan Jennings, bronze in the boys’ eight to 11 years, and Ryan Bruce, bronze in the boys’ 12 to 16 years.
