Hospitalfield Open Day

HOSPITALFIELD is inviting the public to one of their popular open days this weekend.

The visitors’ open day will take place between 12.30 and 4 p.m. this Sunday, and is free to attend.

Visitors will be able to view the recently unearthed documents, hear a lecture from director Willie Payne, peruse the high calibre collection of arts and crafts and enjoy the amenities of the Hospitalfield House kitchen.

Tours of the House will be given hourly and Arbroath Abbey Timethemes will put on a display at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Hospitalfield are also pleased to have secured the services of talented Russian pianist Zenia for the event.

Members of HOPE garden will also be on hand to answer horticulture related queries and to sell some of their sought after produce.

It is hoped that Sunday will prove even more popular than the last open day in March, which attracted 250 visitors.
