Broughty Ferry art studio is hosting a major exhibition by John Bell, one of Scotland’s most distinctive and collectable artists.
His exhibition - A Portrait of Winter - is a remarkable series of acutely observed studies of Scotland’s most spectacular season. Following John’s hugely successful 2012 exhibition Light of Two Seasons, this show focuses on the effects of a Scottish winter on the landscape.
Born in 1972 and raised in Broughty Ferry, John studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, and now lives in rural Perthshire.
The exhibition opened last Saturday and is open daily, except Sundays, until November 22.
