A CARNOUSTIE pub will be embracing our European cousins this weekend with a tribute to a famous German beer festival.
The Kinloch Arms Hotel will host their Oktoberfest from tonight (Friday) until Sunday evening and promises live music to accompany the beers.
Proprietor Jonathon McInally has sourced 12 Continental Lagers and beers, as well as traditional German sausages.
Tonight (Friday) from 9 p.m. there will be music from Paper Tiger, then on Saturday afternoon an acoustic session from Dave and Paul, followed by an evening set from Under Fire before finishing on Sunday evening with Cutting Corners.
Jonathon said: “It’s just something a wee bit different and we’ve had all the other ‘fests’ so we didn’t want to let Oktoberfest pass without marking it.
“And anyone who turns up in Lederhosen will get themselves a free beer!”
Entry to the Kinloch Arms Oktoberfest is free and please note the Chelsea v Manchester United game on Sunday will be shown as usual.
