AN ORIGINAL piece of guerilla art last week met with a great response.

Around 150 snowball pom-poms were artfully arranged along the railings of Arbroath Public Library on Friday in preparation for a pop-up event tomorrow (Saturday).

The pop-poms were the idea of artists Doodlestuff, Kerfuffle, Heartfelt and Whimsical Lush, and contained special invitations to their ‘Tentalicious at Christmas’ art exhibition.

It will feature a range of handcrafted items and will take place between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. at 61 Dishlandtown Street. It is open to all and anyone presenting a snowball will receive mulled wine and a mince pie.

Artist Jill Henderson said: “The snowball hanging was a resounding success and every single pom-pom snowball was taken away by visitors at the scene which was amazing. Children and adults alike seemed to enjoy them. We can’t guarantee real snow but we can offer a lovely selection of art and gift ideas to get us in the Christmas mood!” For more information find Tentalicious on Facebook.
