A massive 39 gigs will be held from 12.30 p.m. on the Saturday with a further 17 gigs on the Sunday will to round off a fantastically busy and energetic weekend of blues in Arbroath.

As well as bringing in top flight talent from all over, local bands will feature prominently, from the likes of soul music and rock ‘n’ roll band six piece outfit Declaration to Midnight Blues Band, London based Junkyard Dogs, Blueshouse and Vigilantes.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “Simply put, the festival goers are going to have a great time to great music, in a great place. All in the compact town centre, Westport, harbour area.

“Coming two weeks after The SeaFest this will be another weekend which will have Arbroath buzzing. The Bell Rock Blues Music Festival will attract a significant influx of visitors to the town, to mix with the enthusiastic locals in enjoying a very successful festival which will keep Arbroath firmly on the Blues music map.”

The organisers wish to extend their thanks to their sponsors, including Breedon Aggregates and Lodge St Thomas No. 40, for their help in keeping it an entirely free festival. Also to the venues who pay for the performers and Fire and Rescue Scotland for their assistance and the festival goers for their continued support.
