A UNIQUE insight into the mind of one of Scotland’s most famous playwrights will come to Arbroath next month.

‘J.M. Barrie: Peter Pan Man’, features three one act plays and will appear at the Webster Memorial Theatre on Friday, May 18, at 7.30 p.m.

The main offering is a specially commissioned play that explores J.M Barrie’s alter-ego M’Connachie, whom he revealed at his 1922 inaugural presidential speech to the students at St Andrews University.

Theatre Broad commissioned award-winning Edinburgh playwright Anne Stenhouse to write the one act play, which will cast light on the unruly side of Barrie’s personality which he credits for his work.

The other two plays on offer are ‘Seven Women’ and ‘The Twelve Pound Look’. To book contact the box office on 01241 435800. Tickets are £10 or £8 concession.
