Combined Productions is delighted to be bringing panto back to the Brechin City Hall after the pandemic forced them to delay their production of Aladdin last year. The company will be treading the boards from Wednesday, 1 to Saturday, 4 December, 2021 at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

The cast transport us to Old Peking and the laundry run by Aladdin's mother, Widow Twankey, and his dopey brother, Wishee Washee. There's plenty opportunity to boo and hiss at the evil Abanazar and lots of laughs provided by PCs Ping and Pong, the useless Peking policemen. The company is excited to be back after a year away with the production team working hard to bring the show together.

Ali Niven who plays the Emperor in the show said: “It feels amazing to be back doing panto again. It kick-starts the festive period for me and I really missed it last year. We hope everyone enjoys the show as much as we've enjoyed rehearsing it. "

Eleanor Kinninmonth who plays Aladdin added: "It’s brilliant to be back in panto again. After such a long time without theatre I'm very grateful to be back on stage with such an amazing cast."
